Recently, at Forstek d.o.o., we have developed a solution for issues with foil on feeder rollers of blister lines. Compatible with many lines, mounting without physically interfering with the line. We introduce a tensioning roller that addresses the problem of inconsistent foil tension caused by existing rollers.
With traditional feeder rollers, the foil sometimes doesn’t stretch evenly, leading to issues during the packaging process. Our tensioning roller elegantly fits between two existing rollers on the feeder roller and ensures consistent and precise foil tension throughout the process, without the need for physical intervention in the existing line.
The main advantages of our innovation include:
- Consistent foil tension: The foil tensioning system with our roller ensures uniform tension of the foil throughout the packaging process, reducing the likelihood of errors and improving packaging quality.
- Increased efficiency: By reducing the need for manual adjustments and decreasing the time spent adjusting existing rollers, our innovation enables a more efficient blister line workflow.
- Waste reduction: With better control over the forming foil, waste is also reduced, resulting in significant savings in materials and production costs.
- Easy installation and use: Our tensioning roller is designed for easy installation into existing foil feeding systems on blister lines, allowing for quick implementation and minimal production interruptions, without physically interfering with the line.
- Adaptability to different types of rollers: Our tensioning roller allows for use on all sizes of angular and cylindrical feeder rollers, further increasing its usability and flexibility.
In the next iteration of our tensioning roller, we have included a fixed offset function, which allows for easy manual adjustment of the roller, facilitating foil changes during the exchange of format parts for a different product type.
In the future, our goal remains to further develop innovations that meet the needs of our customers and enable them to stay ahead of the competition.
